The SchoolTube video player can be embedded in school, class, or student websites. Most importantly, embedded videos are played ad-free!! No risk of having an unwanted ad spoil your great production. Here are some great examples of SchoolTube video embeds from the media production class at Ladue High School in St. Louis. Review some great examples:

Unlimited Personal Channels for Schools, Teachers & Students!
Create channels by class, project, grade, year, etc. Share your channels by their unique URL, enable subscriptions so your students and fans can follow them. Each channel can be set with public or private viewing status. Within your channel, create unlimited embeddable playlists to organize and share your videos. Playlists do not show related content, so they are a great way to share your videos without distraction. Read our blog post on SchoolTube personal channels to learn more. Here are some great examples:
Superintendent’s Channel: Ladue Schoool District
Student Channel: Ladue High School Media Student
SchoolTube is FREE!
SchoolTube is FREE, supported by school-appropriate ads and sponsors. Or, enjoy ad-free viewing under SchoolTube’s low-cost ad-free subscription plan.
Video Collaboration Controls
Both teachers and students can control who can view, edit, and publish their videos and channels. For example, students can give their teacher’s co-publisher or co-viewer status, creating a one-to-one relationship on select videos. Similarly, a teacher could give all their student’s contributor status to a channel – creating a secure and private student assignment collection channel. There are many ways collaboration controls can be used in media and journalism classes.
Built-In Camera, Screen, and Audio Recording Tools
SchoolTube offers two built-in apps for creating recordings: Express Capture and Screen and Audio Record. Express Capture activates the device camera and is great for making “selfie videos” where you are the star. Screen and Audio Record, when activated, allows the user to record all or a portion of their screen, as well as their camera and audio feeds. Both apps allow for alternate camera and mic activation. These are great tools that schools often pay extra for, which are free on SchoolTube!
Safe YouTube Video Linking
If you share or want to share content from YouTube with your class, the safest way is to link YouTube videos to a SchoolTube account. Doing so plays the video through SchoolTube while removing YouTube ads, suggested videos, and comments. The process is subject to your web filter settings, so if sharing YouTube videos with your class is important, we suggest you contact SchoolTube to discuss it in advance.
Getting Started is Easy!
SchoolTube supports 8 apps for single sign-on, including G-Suite, Clever, Schoology, GG4L, Classlink, and more! Once active, your students can quickly and safely create their SchoolTube accounts and get working!! So many great SchoolTube features for media and journalism classes! These are just a few and there are many more. To learn more, request information, or ask to set up a demo at your convenience. Last but not least, thank you to the Ladue High School Broadcast Media class for allowing us to share some of their amazing work!
