Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus Review

When Blackmagic Design released their new cameras - Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro - I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one. As the owner of a marketing agency, I’m familiar with my DSLR, and I wanted to see if the Blackmagic Studio Camera was really so easy to operate for someone with virtually no studio experience. Spoiler alert: it was.

Blackmagic Design sent us the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus to review and test in a professional live production workflow.

Blackmagic’s website promises that the Studio Camera is the ultimate self-contained, HDMI-centric live production camera. Right out of the box, you can experience the robust build and incredibly clear image on the screen. The more you use it, the more features you discover.
